Improvisation fun….

I am having fun getting back into joining in challenges again this year. One that I have started playing in again is the super fun Annabelle Stamps challenges. The challenge over there this week is a colour challenge. I am never usually very good at these as I never seem to have any of the colours! But having got lots of distress inks for Christmas I thought I could improvise on this one.

For my watermelon I used Festive Berries, my Waterfall was Peacock Feathers and my Blueberry was Chipped Sapphire. I inked my tag up with the Peacock Feathers. I then diluted some Festive Berries and splattered it on the tag. It looks very close to the watermelon in real life. I then stamped flowers from the Annabelle Stamps Floral Silhouettes set and the butterflies from All Things Grow Set.

I wanted my sentiment to pop so I stamped it on some white card, shaped it and stapled it on. The sentiment is from the Floral Silhouette set. I then added a scattering of sprinkles all over the tag in a close to the waterfall colour.

This was a very inky fun tag to make, I love creations like that!!
