Thank You Water Colour

Hi All,

I have a very fun card to share with you, that allows you to play with watercolours (or inks, or any other mediums you use) and just have fun, all while making a pretty card! I have full details on how to make this over on the Papermilldirect blog. Head on over and check it out and see just how simple it is and try it out!

Time for Thanks!

This month at the Sarah Hurley Challenge blog our theme is Thanks or Thank You!

For my project I made a fun little wedge shape gift box. I made it from Sarah Hurley’s papers – the A Few of My Favourite Things range. The papers are such an amazing heavy weight they were perfect for my little box. I embellished it using bits and pieces from the embellishment range in the Sarah Hurley shop. I made it a little box for some goodies to give as a thank you.

A vision in blue….

I made this following the wonderful layout over at Annabelle stamps blog. Its a bling challenge so had to have bling on it somewhere. The challenge over at Pocket full of Posies is all that glitters, so I think this card works for both quite well. My flowers have pewter stickles on them, and of course a nice bit of bling in the middle! My image (thanks again Timi!) is coloured with colouring pencils and gel pens. The magic dust she is spreading has stickles, liquid pearls and some bling in it here and there. Bling bling!!

Oh I am also entering it over at Wild Orchid, the challenge is One for the Girls!

Sketch and stash….

This is my entry for the Sketch and Stash challenge no 37 over here. The pink papers are my new papers from the Crafty Alley June Kit and the stamps were from AC Sentiments also from Crafty Alley. The corrugated card, butterfly ribbon and pink ribbon on the tag are from my stash. The tag is removable and the sentiment will go on here when its dry enough to stamp on again. It was made from plain cream card stamped on in two different colour inks. I have edged it in baby pink liquid pearls, but they didnt cone out so great in the image 😦 Anyhoo, hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
