Today is release day for Volume 4 of The Sarah Hurley Look Book!! This issue is packed with samples from the team showcasing the amazing products you can find in the store. I was honored to be featured on the cover on this issue, how amazing is that?!
I used the fabulous 31 Spook Street kit for this project. I used all the family in the kit, their house and lots of the skull, grave and ghost elements on it. I added some cheese cloth to look like spooky spider webs in places.
I also cut out the windows and added velum behind the windows. By placing a electric tea light (don’t use a real candle this close to so much paper and cloth!) in behind the house it then lights up the windows for the perfect spooky touch at night time. This is a very difficult photo to capture so apologies about the poor quality of the image below.
This was such a fun 3D scene to create and the kit is a pleasure to work with. There are so many fun elements and papers in it – and if you are like me, you can use a lot of them year round, not just at Halloween!
I will be sharing more of my Lookbook projects over the next few days, but you can see them and the rest of the teams stunning creations in the issue here.
Oh and one last thing…….HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
