I got a birthday gift of this fabulous Waltzing Mouse Stamps set called My Heart from a fab friend…..thank you Sandie! So while playing around with some pink scraps decided to make a quick tag with it. I used a scrap with a scalloped die cut to frame the heart from the set. Woodgrain, borders, hearts and super sentiments – love this set. There may also be some diamond dust stickles on this tag – this is really going to make Sandie proud of me

Love Tag
Hurrah!!
I am having lots of fun making tags and working on using scraps from my desk lately. This is one such tag. I used a kraft tag base and punched one inch circles out of a few different scraps of papers. I then adhered these to the tag base. I added a strip of grey and orange scrap and mounted the raccoon on this. I then doodled around the edge of the tag and topped it off with some grey Lawn Fawn Trimmings twine.
I added some glossy accents to the raccoons eyes, nose and ears for some dimension too. The speech bubble is stamped from a Lawn Fawn set and cut out by hand. The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you are all having a good day!
A final Waltzingmouse Sketch!
Have you heard the sad news about the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge? This last sketch is sadly the final one! You can see the news here. I could not resist playing along with the final sketch so here is my entry….
I used the Heirloom Patterns for the pattern on purple card stock and on some kraft too. I also used the Rescue Remedies too, I love this set! I stamped the Get Well Wishes sentiment in white ink. I then added white faux stitching in various places.
Thanks for having a look, I hope 2013 is treating you well so far!!
Simple and fun Christmas card!
I did up a quick pair of Christmas cards last night using a Tiddly Ink digi called Harmony At Home. I made it a lovely and simple card but the image and the background make it look nice and detailed. I coloured the image with my Inktense pencils and then inked up a card blank and stamped some snowflakes on it in white ink. I added a sentiment from Waltzing Mouse Stamps. The houses I cut out and stuck onto the card blank. I added some foam pads to the roofs of the tall houses only to get a little bit of dimension….
I also made the same card on a square card base as I had enough of the houses left over to do a bit wider a card!
I do love quick and simple and fun cards like these!
Lots of Thanks!
I was recently asked to make a set of 10 thank you cards. I was given no direction other than fancy, no colour preferences, style etc. Which sounds lovely and stress free, but it really wasn’t! I did not know the person so had no idea of what they would like. So after much deliberating I decided to use Prima Songbird to create the set. They are all slightly different as the paper pad is limited in pages obviously, and I mixed two different colours of ribbon and gem stones too. The Thank You sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps Say It Loud set. If you only ever buy one sentiment set this is the one to get!
So anyway, enough talk, here is a sample of one of the cards….
And here is a peek at the set so you can see the slight variation in the papers and other elements….
Thanks for stopping by today, have a nice day
3 – 2 – 1
This week at Sentimental Sundays our challenge is a 3-2-1. Use 3 of one thing, two of another and 1 of another. We are kindly sponsored by Meljen’s Designs

I altered another little notebook for my entry. I used 3 different patterned papers, two pieces of washi tape and one image as my 3-1-1. My image is an adorable Meljen’s one, so cute!!
Make sure to stop by the Sentimental Sundays blog and check out the work from the rest of the fab DT!!
Focus on the sentiment….
Its time for another challenge from PaperPlay Challenges! This week we want to see your sentiment as your main image. We are kindly sponsored this week by Whiff of Joy with a stamp up for grabs as the prize!
I decided since everyone else is doing it that I should start too – make Christmas items! I decided to make a tag as I never have enough of them when it comes to wrapping gifts. So I am planning on tipping away at creating them. I used a Waltzing Mouse Stamps set for my Christmas sentiment. I love this set, so perfect for all Christmas occasions. I used some Christmas paper from last year (Bo Bunny I think) that I dug out from my scrap pile.
I added the tissue tape to the bottom and a feather, some flourishes and the bird which I tried to turn into a robin! I love how the sentiment really pops out on this tag even with everything going on.
Make sure to head over to the PaperPlay challenge blog to see what the other design team members have created – stunning work as always! Then make sure to enter and share your work with us!!
Red white and blue!!
Just a quick one from me today with a entry for the Best of British WOW Embossing Powders challenge. I went for a really CAS look on this. I used a sun burst stencil from Retro Cafe Art, and stencilled through it with emobssing ink. I then used the Blue Glitz WOW embossing powder on this and embossed it. It has an amazing sparkle and I really wanted it to shine on the tag. I inked the tag up with two shades of red distress ink (festive berries and barn door). A simple sentiment from Waltzing Mouse Stamps, and some black and white ribbon then finished it off…..
Flags, banners & pennants….
Pins and pearls!
This week at Paper Play Challenges we want to see you use your stamps with Pins & Pearls! Create a card/LO/Project that uses a stamped image/sentiment with some pins and pearls.
