I’m just popping by today with some cute inspiration using an adorable 2 Cute Ink Image - Owl You Need Is Love. This image is adorable and perfect for many occasions.
I created this tag using up scraps from on my desk, I love making tags to use up scraps this way. I fussy cut the owl and the hearts from the image and foam mounted them all on the tag. I added some glossy accents to the hearts too for some extra shine!

Hey all, I am here again today with another little 2 Cute Ink cutie for you all. I used the adorable iFrogger Digi on this fun tag.
I used lots of scraps of green papers on a kraft card base. I splattered it all with white ink and foam mounted the frog on it, as well as foam mounting the fly. I love the irony of the sentiment I used – the frog sure loves that fly! I added glossy accents on the frogs eyes, spots on his body and on the fly’s wings too. Oh and I scattered a few sequins all over the tag too just for good measure!
I am still having great fun working from my box of goodies from Yumi & Fumi. I coloured up the adorable Fumi with Turtle image again. I used the My Little Shoebox papers from the prize pack and again went to town on some of them with rub on’s – I think I am starting to get addicted to them. You can see them on the blue tag peeking out from behind the image and also the sentiment is a rub on.
I fussy cut the image and mounted it onto a journalling card cut out from the papers.
Its hard to see in the photo but I put glossy accents on the turtles shell to give it some gloss and dimension.

I recently won a big blog event over at Yumi & Fumi Handmade, and boy was it an amazing prize….
This amazing box of goodies turned up in my office and it was so difficult to concentrate on work with all of this sitting beside me! I spent the weekend colouring images and finally got to make something last night.
I used the adorable Fumi with Turtle image on this tag I created. Everything I used on this tag came from the box of goodies….
I added the green papers as background and tore a strip of the blue to add some more colour. I used some of the rub on’s to add pattern. I used the papers – the sheet made up of journalling cards to use as a mount for my image. I cut it down a bit first and used the off cut strip for the sentiment – again a rub on. I fussy cut Fumi and glued her down along her left side and foam mounted along the right side to give her dimension and make it really look like she was peeking out from behind something. I added some ribbon and enamel dots from the package and called it done!

Another of my projects for the Sarah Hurley Lookbook Volume 3 was to use the Sarah Hurley paper packs to make some projects with. I worked with the A Few Of My Favourite things pack on these.
The paper is 200gsm, textured and a dream to work with – I genuinely love this paper, the designs are fab and the quality of the paper is just superb. I use the papers to alter a wooden box that a fancy wallet had come in (a great TK Max find!).
I distressed the map page by tearing the edges and inking up the edges too. I added some graph paper in behind the torn and curled edges. I then drew a dotted line from the ship to make it look like the course the ship was taking. I doodled a frame on the page too. Oh and added an X marks the spot too of course!
The tag is also from Sarah Hurley and I covered it with some moustache papers. I added a journey sentiment to this and distressed and inked up the edges of the tag too.
I love the papers against the deep wood colour of the box. It is the perfect place for my husband to keep some trinkets and bit and pieces in too.

I made a fun clean and simple tag to let the image really shine! I used a fun blue zebra print paper backed onto a black tag base. I added some strips of washi tape, a banner sentiment, some black gems. I then fussy cut the zebra out and mounted him on foam pads on the tag.
I love how cute he looks floating up above the sentiment on the tag.
I am having lots of fun making tags and working on using scraps from my desk lately. This is one such tag. I used a kraft tag base and punched one inch circles out of a few different scraps of papers. I then adhered these to the tag base. I added a strip of grey and orange scrap and mounted the raccoon on this. I then doodled around the edge of the tag and topped it off with some grey Lawn Fawn Trimmings twine.
I added some glossy accents to the raccoons eyes, nose and ears for some dimension too. The speech bubble is stamped from a Lawn Fawn set and cut out by hand. The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps.

I started this card by making a tag….and then decided to make it into a card for some reason! I had lots of pink scraps left on my desk from the card from yesterday so I pulled them all out and added in some grey to tone it all down a bit. I love how the cute Saturated Canary image in blue pops out amongst all the pink.

Do you ever think you have blogged something and then realise you hadn’t? That you hadn’t even processed the photos, let alone blogged?! Well that’s what happened on this one. I recently ordered some stamps from Waltzing Mouse Stamps and got this little Appleblossom Seeds stamp in my order. It was so cute I made a tag straight away with it. I inked walnut stain distress ink over a cream card base. I then used ‘pesto’ green chalk ink and two little round stamps from the Rescue Remedies set to create a custom background.
I then stamped the seed packet on kraft and cut it out by hand. I then matted it onto some wood grain patterned paper that I swiped some walnut stain over. Its not as dark in real life as it looks in the photo! I then used a sentiment from Fancy Phrases to add a sentiment to the tag. I stapled this on with copper coloured staples.

I am loving using black card lately and I have two fun tags today made using black card, scraps from my desk and some images I also had pre coloured. This makes for super fast crafting for me as I can get in, get crafty and produce something in a short space of time. My first tag I stamped some music notes on some blue card, added some washi tape, some white gel pen doodling and then topped it with the singing robot image.
For the second tag I stamped a bubble wrap stamp using white ink. I then added a few strips of washi tape, my robot image and a chipboard arrow that I inked up red. I made the ribbon on this tag from the washi tape too just to make it fully tie in.
So there you have two tags, super fast and super fun. Any time I can doodle on black card with a white gel pen I am happy!
