It was recently my friend Timi’s birthday so naturally I made her a card. I decided to use images of vintage maps for on the card. I used a Hungarian map (where she is from) and an Irish map (where she now lives). Dublin and Pécs both have a little star on them – her home town and where she lives now! Both were vintage map images I printed from the internet and then I aged and distressed them some more. The colour scheme is greens as that is Timi’s favourite colour.
I used the Skipping Stones Designs sketch for the layout of the card and also used a Skipping Stones Design stamp set for the sentiment – the Grunge Set.
I am also entering this into the Moxie Fab World Map to Your Heart Challenge.
Happy Birthday Timi!!

For this theme I made a winter wall hanging. I love the snow we had here in Ireland and this is my wish for more snow to come back I used the Warm winter wishes sentiment set for this. This is a lovely winter set and its can be Christmassy, or not, so super versatile!
Make sure you head over to Sentimental Sundays to check out the rest of the design teams stunning work, and of course share your work with us!
Im not feeling great today so no crafty projects today. Too tired to concentrate! The pic is from our trip to the botanic gardens on Monday. These are my favourite flowers, so enjoy!
I made this following the challenge 34 layout over at Truly Scrumptious. I also went for the Paper Play challenge Week 24- using something old from your stash. I have had the green papers for ages, I got them in a pack of paper I got in Ikea of all places. I liked them, but just could never find a use for them. Sorted now though!
Thought I would share a pic from our trip to Killarney last weekend. The weather was glorious, the walking was wonderful and the food fabulous. Really enjoyed my little shopping spree in Crafty Alley too

How organised am I, card ready already. Good thing my dad is not a internet person and hopefully should not pop by and see this early! I printed the image and cut it out and stuck it onto raised foam pads, and put it back together to give a brick wall effect. Dont know how well it worked, but im happy enough with the result I guess!
Nothing better than sitting in the sunshine in the back garden, a comfy sun lounger and a nice cool drink. Flopsy agrees!
