Guest designer!!
I was delighted to be asked to be a guest designer this month over at Skipping Stones Designs!! I love their stamps and love their challenges and always try to play along each week.
The sketches this month are by the amazing Amy Sheffer. So here is this weeks sketch….
I used the Grunge set to create a beautiful green background with the wood grain stamp from the set for my three pannels. The grunge set is fantastic for creating backgrounds!! I created the banner and stamped the beautiful sentiment from the Heartsong set. I used the beautiful bird from the same set for on my circle.
Make sure you head over to the Skipping Stones Design blog to check out the rest of the guest design team and fantastic new regular design team’s fabulous work!!
Show us your bling!
I am absolutely delighted to be a guest designer at Annabelle Stamps for the month of April. I love their stamps and products and love their challenges so I am delighted to be able to participate as a guest designer. My first post in this role is for the fantastic Bling Sketch challenge. Here is the sketch for this month….
And here is my take on the sketch using my favourite Annabelle Stamp set, Rockin’ Instrumental….
I replaced the squares on the sketch with the drums, guitar and sentiment. These were all clear embossed to add some shine and dimension. The guitar and sentiment were adhered using dimensional foam to give even more dimension. I created the background using a sheet of white card that I repeatedly stamped the music notes from the set on and clear embossed. I then inked up the background using my distress inks. My bling is the superb star crystal gems, I love these beauties, they really do shine!!
We would love to see your work using this sketch….
