During the summer last year we found a really old wooden ladder hidden in the under growth at the end of our garden. It was very cool with pieces of old metal hardware on it and all. I was determined to use it in the garden somehow. It was very rotten but still very strong. Not putting body weight on it strong mind you! So I varnished it to seal it from the elements more and hung it on the wall over a newly built flower bed and small patio area. (Note-newly built flower bed, hence not much growth from the plants in it!!) I then hung some pots with ferns from the ladder and called it done
The garden is a constant work in progress but at least this little section is looking cute! I am linking this up to Funky Junk Interiors link party where it is all about ladders!!
This week we have an amazing colour challenge we have for you over at Sentimental Sundays.
I really had to do some rummaging in my stash to find all these colours, I tend towards more dark colours a lot of the time. I really enjoyed working with these colours though so I shall definately be adding some more colour paper to my stash ;p Anyhoo, here is my card for this week -
Some of my colours may be hiding in there a bit, but they are all there, I promise
The prize for this challenge will be four INDIVIDUAL sentiment sets from theRaindrop Echo Designs Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection AND a custom watermark/signature set from the Custom Designs at Whimsy Stamps. If you like the weekly freebies offered here, please visit the store to see even more! We also offer custom digital designs at an affordable price with tutorials on how to use them.
Make sure to head over to Sentimental Sundays to check out the rest of the design teams work and of course to join in the challenge!!
I made this following the challenge 34 layout over at Truly Scrumptious. I also went for the Paper Play challenge Week 24- using something old from your stash. I have had the green papers for ages, I got them in a pack of paper I got in Ikea of all places. I liked them, but just could never find a use for them. Sorted now though!
I do love the colour of this acer plant/tree. My parents were clearing out their garden and kindly dumped it on me The only problem is that the bunnies seem to love it also, grrr!

Nothing better than sitting in the sunshine in the back garden, a comfy sun lounger and a nice cool drink. Flopsy agrees!

If only rabbits ate moss. Then my garden path would look like a path and not a forest trail!
