Sneaky peek!!

This is a sneak peek of a mini album I made today. It is finished but has not been given to its recipient yet so I am only going to show you the cover for the moment.  When it has reached its destination I will come back and share the rest!

After I finished it I realised that it fits the bill for the challenge over at Simon Says which is to use numbers  on your project. I am off to enter it over there.

Ray of sunshine..

I was having a really day in work today and all I wanted to do was go home and hide under my duvet. Then I found out I had won a bunch of flowers to be delivered to my workplace. These beauties are what arrived!! It certainly made my day so much better with these beauties sitting on my desk :) Thank you so much Dundrum blooms :)

Snow more fun?

It seems like instead of the predicted heavy snowfall last night we got rain – which has started melting the snow :( This makes me really sad, I was having so much fun in the snow!

Footpath closed….

Footpath closed due to flooding, eh? Interesting looking flooding. Maybe they just didnt see the need to have a footpath closed due to snow sign. Just like we seem to think we have no need to stock enough grit to keep our roads clear when we get cold weather!

Building on ruins

How cool is this building in Galway. When digging the foundations for it they discovered the ruins of a old Celtic building. So what did they do? What you see above, they incorporated the ruins into the design of the building. They found the ruins of a viking town when building in Dublin city, and what did they do? Gave some archaeologists a few months to excavate what they could, then dug it all up and cemented over it. Dont worry about our history, or the roots of our culture. A few hundred fancy apartments for bankers was more important. Bah!!
