I created a clean and simple vintage wedding card. A mind boggling combo but you have to do what you are asked right?!

The lovely Prima papers took care of the vintage aspect. I then kept it very simple with a die cut stamped with a sentiment. My double delight is the two butterflies with a touch of bling.

In my head I pictured this working out totally differently, but that’s art for you isn’t it! I wanted it to be a mini inspirational canvas for a guy I know who loves motorbikes. I am not sure I really like how it has worked out but I will live with it for a while and see. I can always paint over it!

I used the cute Butterfly and Thistle image from Digi Doodle Shop on my card. I used some lovely papers from Glitz Design (the Vintage Blue line). My flowers on my project are on my papers and my image.

I used an adorable image called Dragon Gifts. I coloured it with my Inktense pencils and added some shimmer to the dragon and the fairy wings with perfect pearls. I am having great fun using my pencils and figuring out how how to get shading effects etc. But its fun practising!!

I fussy cut the image out – it took quite a while! I then glued the bottom of the image (the lower part of the grass strip) directly to the card base that I had inked up blue for sky. The rest of the image I raised up with foam dots to make it look like the grass, fairy and dragon were popping off the card….

I had fun altering a little notebook to keep in my bag. I distressed and inked the edges of my papers and then tore the top layer to reveal the paper underneath. The papers are BoBunny’s Weekend Market, I love them!!

Have fun with this challenge, its a super fun one!

I created my tag in Photoshop and used some vintage splatter brushes to age it up a bit. I then cropped out parts of the collage sheet and applied them to the tag. I am not the best at Photoshop but I am happy enough with this for my first attempt at a digital collage!

The design team got images to play with – lucky us I picked out the adorable Birthday Penguin with cupcake for on my card. He is holding balloons to fit the B theme and I added a double bow and a button too. I added glossy accents to the balloons to make them look dimensional and also some stickles for sparkle on my cupcake. I also added glossy accents to the polka dots on the cupcake wrapper and to the penguins beak.

I painted it pink and used some old Basic Grey papers to decorate it with, along with some flowers and embellishments. I have yet to add a title on it however. I covered the inside pages in a similar manner matting the BG papers in the centre. I also added some tags and extra non chipboard pages too. Very cleverly I forgot to take more pictures though :/
