Wooden it be nice!

This week at PaperPlay Challenges our challenge to you is “Wooden it be Nice” – use something to do with wood. This could be wood grain paper, wooden embellishments, tree images/stamps – be creative! We are sponsored by Whiff of Joy.

For my card I stamped a wood grain stamp onto a kraft card base. I then added half a doily and some strips of chevron washi tape and a very thin green washi tape too. The two tags are actually made from wood and covered with some DP and stamped on. The nest is made from twine and hot glue with a painted bead in the centre.

I inked up the edges of the tags and the doily a bit too just to distress them a bit more.
