A very quick 2minute card made last night. I was playing around with my new Tim Holtz texture fades, this one is the brick wall one. I was experimenting with inking up the texture fade itself, then putting in the paper and running it through my Big Shot. I used Barn Door distress ink. It gives a slightly different effect than inking it up after embossing it. I quite like the effect. I didnt want to waste my inked up experiment so I stamped a script background on some cream paper (the writing is on the wall, geddit?) and stamped the sentiment onto it. Punched a hole and tied it on with twine. The longest part of all this was cleaning the remaining ink off of the texture fade!!
The writing is on the wall….
